Yesterday was the first day of putting this blog up in which I got comments on the page!! I’m just happy that one person looks at the website and honestly I just thought it would be my boyfriend and my mum ;). Thank you for everyone that takes the time to even glance at this new baby blog. Just to make one thing clear I am not a Vegan, I am however taking steps slowly with my diet, changing and swapping certain foods for vegan alternatives. Hand on heart this really has made a big impact on my body and mental health, I’m just taking baby steps right now and educating myself.
Sunday, the day of rest, and I stayed in bed till gone 11 am to catch up with Luther and omg if you haven’t watched it, I won’t spoil it, but it’s a must-see. I still haven’t watched the Bodyguard or Killing eve but it’s on my list to watch.
Anyway back to the gym, I usually do fasted cardio on a Sunday and try to have my first meal by 13:00. Just a coffee in bed and vegan pre-workout from MyProtein to get me through the 5km run which I finished with abs. This was my first time having vegan pre-work and I thought it was pretty good, it defiantly helps with staying focused without itchiness or tingling feeling that you get with other pre-workouts. Flavour wise wasn’t bad either, I bought Lemon Tea however it has beetroot nitrates so it comes out bright pink/red. I have found that vegan supplements suit my body better as they don’t leave me feeling sick or heavy so when I’m brave I might try some of the other products in that range but I’ll have to do more research and read some more reviews. If anyone has any suggestions on any other good brands with a vegan supplement range, please comment below. Straight after my workout today it was time to have my first meal Lettuce Tacos, I heated the king prawns on a pan for a couple of minutes bought them cooked peeled and washed.
Lunch Lettuce Tacos
- King prawns (alternative kidney beans and quinoa)

Really enjoyed this run today even my sister joined for half after saving me because I forgot my headphones. I wear the Bose SoundSport Free Truly Wireless Sport Headphones in black and they are amazing. I have wore them now for weight training, cardio and watching Youtube whilst the football is on and they have cut all background sound out perfectly, link below.
